PUBLIC CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

LEGAL SEMINAR: DECODING THE CONSTITUTION – WHAT DO THE 2025 AMENDMENTS MEAN FOR ZAMBIANS?

The Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC) invites members of the public, civil society organisations, students, academia, and representatives from various institutions to participate in a Legal Seminar on the 2025 Constitutional Amendments.

The seminar aims to enhance civic awareness and public understanding of the recent constitutional changes by providing a platform where legal experts will explain the amendments, highlight what has changed and what remains unchanged, and discuss the practical implications for governance, elections, and citizen participation in Zambia.

Participants will have an opportunity to engage with experts through presentations and panel discussions covering topics such as the constitutional amendment process, electoral reforms under the amended Constitution, proportional representation, and democratic inclusion.

Venue: Nakatindi Hall, Lusaka Civic Centre
Time: 14:00 to 17:00 hours
