The Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC) wishes to inform members of the public and the media that it conducted a field survey today, 7th April 2026, in Zimba District. The purpose of the survey is to collect views and submissions from members of the public on the ongoing review of the Rent Act and the Landlord and Tenant (Business Premises) Act.
This exercise forms part of the Commission’s broader stakeholder engagement process aimed at ensuring that the laws under review are responsive to the needs and experiences of the people.
The Commission is scheduled to continue conducting similar field surveys in Kalomo, Dundumwezi, and Monze between 7th and 11th April 2026
