On 20th March 2026, the ZLDC handed over Draft Anti-Human Trafficking Regulations to the Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security, with Vice Chairperson Dr Chipo Mushota Nkhata presenting on behalf of Chairperson Hon. Justice Ruth Chibbabbuka and Permanent Secretary Mr Dickson Matembo receiving on behalf of Hon. Jack J. Mwiimbu, SC, marking a key step in strengthening Zambia’s response to trafficking in persons.
