As part of our Zambia@60 Independence Celebrations, the ZLDC will be holding an extraordinary Model United Nations (MUN) Conference at the Italian School of Lusaka! The conference will bring together student delegates from both private and public schools to engage in dynamic deliberations and create impactful resolutions.
What makes this conference special?
Our talented students will step into the shoes of our very own parliamentary constituencies! This innovative twist promises to make the discussions more relevant and insightful to Zambia’s development agenda.
This week, we kick started the pre-conference activities with orientation sessions for the student delegates and their team mentors (school teachers). Whether seasoned MUN participants or newcomers, everyone is getting up to speed on this unique format.
On July 23rd, the Commission in collaboration with the MUN Committee for Zambia held an engaging training session at Kabulonga Boys Secondary School, and today, July 25th, we continued our training at the Italian School of Lusaka for our dedicated Team Mentors.
